Why Momentify has co-owners

We have always wanted to build a platform that artists and fans felt like they owned.

Our journey began with a simple ambition to give artists unrestricted access to connect with and intimately know their fans.

The deeper we delved the more clearly we understood the extent to which the platforms themselves were part of the problem.

Products like Spotify have revolutionised the music industry, but at the same time, have left artists feeling more marginalised than ever. It feels to many, that these ‘platforms’ are taking more than their fair share of the value that has been created by artists.

Momentify is committed to being the fairest music platform.

Our intent is to develop and support a product that brings new revenue to artists and fans without extracting more value than we are creating in the music industry.

But we wanted to go a lot further. We wanted to create a platform that is co-owned by artists and fans.

This is why we were so excited to stumble across KOOS - a community platform that simplifies sharing ownership with early supporters through compliant distribution of virtual shares.
